In memory of ...Kathy (Zitzke) Russell
Kathy was a wife and mother to three young children, John, Corrine and Danielle. Kathy was diagnosed with cancer in May 2002 and passed away five months later. She passed very peacefully, with her family at her side. Kathy worked many years for Milwaukee Public Schools as a school secretary. Kathy was also a key member of our 20 and 30 Year Marshall Reunion committees. She did a tremendous amount of work preparing the biographies for the 20 Year Reunion remembrance book. Since forming the 30 Year committee last year she was the e-mail contact for the committee. Kathy spent many hours updating our mailing list with the address updates that came in from the website. Even after she was diagnosed and going through treatment for the cancer, she continued her work with the committee.
