Steve Cherweznik

Following graduation, Steve joined the Navy.  While enlisted, he sailed up and down the East Coast repairing ships.  He married fellow Class of ’73 graduate Cheryl Feltz, but they later divorced.  After his discharge, Steve settled in Jacksonville, FL and worked as a machinist. 

Steve died in 1979, at the age of 24.  A neighbor got involved in the sidewalk argument and shot him.

Sadly, Steve’s younger sister Nancy (Class of ’77) died two years later in a car accident.
